All online orders do not accept vision insurance as a form of payment. You may submit your order invoice to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. We also recommend purchasing our frames through our optician partners that may be able to accept vision insurance as payment.

Our eyewear is crafted for durability, with each frame undergoing meticulous quality control before leaving the atelier. However, if you see a defect that may have slipped by us, please let us know for us to assess the situation and accommodate if needed. All claims of this nature are covered under a 1 year warranty from purchase date (please provide proof-of-purchase).

Please note that the following is not covered under warranty:

Accidental damage such as broken/deformed frames, scratched lenses, etc. Frames requiring repairs of this nature can be serviced at our Montreal atelier (subject to a fee).

Signs of wear such as reduced polish finish on frames, diminished engraving, etc. If you would like to refurbish or re-lens your frames, these services are offered (subject to a fee).

Yes, it is possible to repair your eyewear. This will depend on the type of damage, therefor please get in touch with us with the order number or receipt.

In the meantime, we recommend avoiding repairing the frames yourself as this can cause further damage or complicate repair.

Our priority is to ensure that your frames fit as comfortably as possible. It should be noted that it is perfectly normal for new eyewear to require a slight adjustment from an optical professional. Please contact us as soon as you are experiencing any fit issues and we will be happy to find a solution.

The lenses should always be wiped with a microfiber cloth for a quick clean of the lenses. For more thorough cleaning of the frame and lenses, please follow the following instructions:

Under running cold or lukewarm tap water, wipe the entire frame and lenses with a pea size amount of dishwashing soap for 30-60 seconds. Rinse all of the soap off completely. Wipe dry with a clean paper towel.

When putting your eyewear on and off your face, we recommend using both hands, as using only 1 hand over time will place excess pressure on the hinges. Similarly, do not wear your frames on top of your head as the temples will stretch outwards, creating an overly wide fit.

For any adjustments required to your eyewear, please do not attempt to adjust yourselves. Please book an appointment at our atelier or get in contact with your local optical professional.

It’s always recommended to store your frames in their case, and out of direct sunlight when not in use.

Shipping & processing

We provide standard shipping. Delivery should be expected within 7 to 14 business days.

We offer free standard shipping across Canada. Check our Shipping Policy for details.

We do not offer international shipping at the moment. As demand grows, we will expand our availability to more countries.

Since our products are made-to-order, each crafted by hand from the frame to the lens, processing time can vary from 14 days to 21 days.

Yes, once your order ships you’ll receive a tracking link by email. This allows you to monitor its progress until it reaches you.

It may be possible to make changes although it cannot be guaranteed if your order is in production. Contact us ASAP for us to help find a solution. Please contact us at (ea.eyewear@gmail.com)

All our eyewear is handcrafted following a made-to-order model this way we can make pieces as they’re needed in a sustainable way. That's why we encourage you to make sure  your order is correct before placing it. If you're not sure, no problem, we're here to help.

Once your order has been submitted, the informations such as your adresse, name and phone number cannot be changed. If the order hasn’t been processed and/or shipped out it may be possible for us to cancel your order for you to place a new order with the correct information. At this time, we only sell individual frames with non-prescription lenses. If you would like to add prescription lenses, please contact your local optician or visit our optical partners carrying the Emotional Armor line.

Once shipped it is not possible to make any changes. If it's not the case, please contact us as soon as possible ea.eyewear@gmail.com.

All Emotional Armor eyewear is designed to be able to fit prescription lenses. For prescription related needs, you can visit our optician partners carrying the Emotional Armor line or your local optician.

SHIPPING POLICY

Emotional Armor offers free secure shipping across Canada

Every frame is crafted by hand, every lens is hand tinted/cut, and made-to-order. Therefore, our current wait time to complete your unique eyewear could be up to 2-3 weeks depending on the availability of your chosen frame colour*. Once your eyewear is completed with care, it should be expected within 7 to 14 business days thereafter.

International Orders

We do not offer international shipping at the moment. Our goal as demand grows is to offer our products worldwide. To stay updated on when our international shipping will become available in the future, please sign up for our newsletter.

Secure shipping

We make sure to secure your items in our packaging, and carefully pick transporters that will carefully handle your order. To ensure secure delivery, all orders require a signature, making sure you receive your order! 

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Uh oh!? Package missing, lost, or damaged

If this happens, contact us immediately at ea.eyewear@gmail.com with your order number. Since we do not have control over the orders once handed over, you can file a claim directly to the carrier who will investigate. We will do whatever we can on our end, please keep us notified throughout the process. 

If the package was never claimed and sent back to our atelier, we will refund the order. If you wish to have it sent back, please contact us, note fees will be charged. 

Returns & exchanges

Return conditions

For online purchases, we offer free returns & provide full refunds within 14 days of receiving your eyewear. To be eligible for a return, please note that your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn or unused, in its original packaging including the cloth and case. 

Please note all customized product are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

To proceed to a return:
  1. Contact us at ea.eyewear@gmail.com with your order number or receipt.
  2. Once confirmed we will send you a return ticket.
  3. Add return label to your package and send your order back to us or drop it off at our atelier:

Exchanges


For any exchange, the quickest method is to begin the return process for the eyewear already purchased, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item or book an appointment! 

Refunds


We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not.

If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at ea.eyewear@gmail.com.
